optional coil car charger will not charge the unit if it completely looses power. have to use the one that came in the box in order to power it on.
I really like my new GPS, seems to work much better than the one I used to have. I am very pleased with it.

When I bought it, at the same time it needed a map update. It would take my take me through the longer route at many locations..I am still trying to get a free update from them..
